Founded in 1957 and undergoing several name changes, the school has an annual enrollment exceeding 72,000 students. The nursing program is a one-year study course comprising 46 credits. The curriculum covers human anatomy, practical nursing skills, pharmacology, molecular biology and cells, and mental health. Enrolled students complete a mix of classroom, practical skills, and clinical experiences.
Admission Requirements:
- Minimum 2.0 GPA for any courses taken previously at the college
- Provide all necessary transcripts

- Pass the ATI TEAS and submit the scores to the school for consideration
- A number of pre-requisite courses in biology, anatomy, psychology, and composition are strongly recommended but not mandatory, all Grade C

Anne Arundel Community College was established in 1961 in Arnold, part of the metropolitan area of Baltimore (just 20 miles away). An award-winning community college, AACC offers a range of nursing programs. Students will begin with classroom study and must maintain a grade of C until they get to the Clinical Laboratory. This C must be maintained throughout.

- High school diploma, GED, graduate or equivalent
- Transcripts in support of the above
- Pre-requisite courses include general chemistry or college-level chemistry. Where home schooled, the curriculum must be of a state-approved curriculum
- Arithmetic Placement Test. Minimum score of 27. The test must have been taken no longer ago than 7 years or it must be retaken
- Non-English-speaking students must have passed TOEFL or valid equivalent
